The winter market on Holzmarktstraße boasts a very special atmosphere, extraordinary foods and drinks and a diverse program for all visitors.

All year, the alternative creative project Holzmarkt invites Berliners and visitors to relax and enjoy life sustainably at their location right on the banks of the Spree. In December, the artists' village transforms into a colorful and unique Christmas market.

Food, Art, Gifts and More

A wide range of unique and unusual goods will be offered at the market stalls. Handmade soaps, fine honey, designer jewelry, pottery, ceramics and photographs are among the items on sale. Culinary delights will also be on offer. From lángos and burritos to cheese spaetzle and ramen, there will be something to suit all appetites. Of course, freshly baked sweet treats and mulled wine will not be missed.

Children's Program at Heissa Holzmarkt

Every year, the Christmas market at Holzmarkt provides a variety of activities for young visitors, including an indoor playground, a bouncy castle, a hands-on circus and a biscuit baking workshop. In addition, kids can listen to storytellers and watch theater performances.
