For five weeks, the old center of Zehlendorf in front of the town hall is illuminated in Christmas colors.
In a cozy neighborhood ambience, the stalls along Teltower Damm offer selected goods and handicraft gift ideas for sale. Highlights are the market's culinary offers, such as mulled wine, gingerbread and roasted almonds, and the regular visits of Santa Claus.
As is tradition, the 20 x 18 meter ice skating rink promises lots of sporty fun. For a fee of €2.50, Christmas market visitors can skate as long as they'd like on the environmentally friendly artificial ice rink.
On Saturdays and Sundays, visitors can look forward to a Christmas stage program starting at 4 pm. Children's eyes will light up at craft and baking activities and special children's attractions. In addition, families can win a grand prize in the big family package lottery, which children can enter for free.
