An association of several institutions celebrates the Christmas season in Tempelhof with a Christmas market around the village church of Marienfelde.
Participants are usually the Protestant parish of Marienfelde, the Haus der Ideen and the Turn- und Sportverein Marienfelde 1890 e.V. The Christmas market at Bauer Lehmann - also in Marienfelde - takes place at the same time.
The Christmas market gets its charm from the distribution of the various locations around the old village green, which exudes a historical flair thanks to the numerous preserved buildings. The market not only invites you to immerse yourself in the Christmas spirit in a contemplative atmosphere, but also to discover the old village.
The stalls offer a typical Christmas market range with arts and crafts, gift ideas and, of course, traditional delicacies. The local communities present their work as part of the Christmas market and organize the cultural program. TSV Marienfelde, for example, traditionally organizes a tombola, while the House of Ideas offers craft activities for children alongside high-quality exhibitors. Visitors can also listen to Christmas music in the village church.
