St. Nicholas Market at Charlottenburg City Hall

Since 2007, the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district office has been inviting visitors to its St. Nicholas Market at Charlottenburg City Hall every year.

The market stalls offer products from non-profit sponsors. A colorful range of handmade gifts, toys made of wood, felt or fabric, ceramic objects, soaps, candles and all kinds of Christmas items await visitors in the entrance hall of Charlottenburg City Hall. For the hungry and those with a sweet tooth, there will be coffee and a hearty chili.

Christmas Gifts for a Good Cause

The St. Nicholas Market aims to provide information about the activities of the organizer, the Department for Social Affairs, and its cooperation with other projects and sponsors. The market stalls are run by non-profit organizations that provide employment for people with disabilities or mental health problems. Christmas market visitors are thus presented with a selection of lovingly crafted, original gift ideas that support a good cause.
