Not far from the Altglienicke S-Bahn station, a cozy Christmas atmosphere will reign when the local Advent market opens its stalls.

The almost 20 stands are mainly run by regional exhibitors such as clubs, daycare centres and independent organizations. Culinary delicacies, home-made gift ideas, Advent arrangements and cabaret are on offer. The Advent market traditionally begins at 2 p.m. with an Advent service in the church at the Rosestraße 42 community center, followed by a music program in the church. The Altglienicke Advent market is organized by the Bürgerverein Altglienicke e.V. and the Protestant parish of Altglienicke.
