The organizing association, Zug der Liebe e.V., is made up of musicians, media professionals and other music enthusiasts. The organizers want Zug der Liebe to be clearly distinguished from major events such as the Love Parade or the Carnival of Cultures and see the event as a political demonstration that wants to set an example for community values, love and compassion.
