Selected international galleries present their most important positions from contemporary and modern art at Paper positions, with a focus on the material paper.
Drawings, collages, silhouettes, texts, photographs and artists' books are among the works on display at the art fair in Deutsche Telekom's representative office in the capital. 56 international galleries will be showing expressive and modern works that focus on the medium of paper and its creative potential.
Three prizes are awarded at the art fair every year. The Paper Art Award will be presented for the fourth time in 2024. It honours artists who deal with the material paper in an outstanding and inspiring way. The Leue & Nill Award honours the gallery with the best presentation. Both the works shown and the curatorial performance and professional hanging at the exhibition stand are relevant. The third prize is the Paper Positions Award. It honours a special artist.
