Ferry F10: Wannsee — Alt-Kladow

Frühlingswetter - auf dem Wannsee

The ferry line F10 between Wannsee and Alt-Kladow is an important transport connection and popular with excursionists on weekends as a short steamboat trip.

The F10 ferry is an important transport link between the Wannsee district in Steglitz-Zehlendorf and Alt-Kladow in the Spandau district. On weekdays, many commuters from Kladow use the ferry to get to the Wannsee S-Bahn station.

With a route of 4.4 kilometers, the F10 is one of the longest ferry lines in Berlin and popular with day trippers on weekends. The 20-minute boat ride on the Greater Wannsee llake and the Havel river passes the island of Schwanenwerder and offers expansive views of the river and its banks.

At the pier in Alt-Kladow, a promenade with restaurants, a playground for children and a bathing area invites visitors to linger. The village character of Alt-Kladow and the rural surroundings are well suited for bicycle tours and long walks. There are 60 bicycle parking spaces aboard the ferry, which can accommodate up to 300 passengers.
