The Long Night of Museums in summer is the perfect opportunity for those who felt uncomfortable to visit the Long Night of Museums in cold March.
Like in spring, more than a hundred museums throughout the city participate on this event in late August. This gives avid museum visitors, interested Berlin guests and residents the opportunity to discover places of art in the capital.
During unusual opening hours, from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., Berlin's art scene presents itself in all its diversity: In a total of 400 square kilometres, exhibitions are shown, readings and theatre performances take place. Therefore the eight-hour programme provides events for every age group.
The passed Long Nights of Museums have shown that people prefer visiting the event in groups. Only one in ten attends the Long Night of Museums alone.
In order to reach all places comfortably, shuttle buses drive guests to the participating sites throughout the city.
When: 31st of August 2013
Opening hours: 6p.m. to 2 a.m.
