Berlin is a modern industrial location and offers attractive conditions for companies looking to set up production here with its good mix of future technologies and traditional industries.

In 2021, more than 107,000 people were employed in the capital in over 770 industrial companies (20 or more employees) subject to social security contributions. These generated sales of more than 28 billion Euro.
