Berlin’s vibrant start-up landscape is attracting more and more investors to the German capital. Berlin draws by far the most venture capital nationwide and has become the most important target region for foreign investors. Numerous public institutions as well as private investors such as business angels, incubators, and accelerators are available to provide assistance in getting your business off the ground.

In addition, technology and incubators in Berlin are on hand to offer practical help with day-to-day issues faced by start-ups. Berlin’s universities also maintain their own incubators and actively participate in the start-up network Science & Startups.

Moving and Location

Berlin offers entrepreneurs from non-EU countries fast administrative support, e.g. by means of the Business Immigration Service. The Location Services of the Berlin Business Development Agency make it easier to find a new location. Close networking between business and science characterizes Berlin’s future locations.
