Time
Berlin is located in the Central European time zone (CET). This time zone applies in the whole of Germany as well as in other European countries, for example such as France and Italy. In Germany and Berlin, there are summertime and wintertime. There is a difference of one hour between summertime and wintertime. Summertime in Berlin begins on the last Sunday in March every year; the clocks are then put forward from 02.00 to 03.00. Wintertime in Berlin begins on the last Sunday in October, when the clocks are put back from 03.00 to 02.00.
Night rest
From 22.00 to 06.00 it is prohibited to cause noise that can disrupt someone’s night rest.
