In order to obtain a differentiated assessment of what causes the sulphur dioxide pollution and to contribute to its elimination, air pollution (immissions) is measured at specific locations at regular intervals and supplemented by the comprehensive dispersion calculations presented here. For ‘industry’, these are calculated for each source of emission (stack) individually. More information

Measuring stations consistently monitor the air quality. In addition to the station records, this map shows site-specific short-term numbers (98% value) interpolated to the area, which serve as a parameter for the maximum sulphur dioxide pollution. More information
