Maps

03.03.1 Emissions from Industry 1994 (Heating and Power Plants, Facilities Requiring a License)

Link to: 03.03.1 Emissions from Industry 1994 (Heating and Power Plants, Facilities Requiring a License)
Image: Umweltatlas Berlin

The calculated nitrogen oxide emissions caused by the polluter group ‘industry’, including plants requiring a permit and Berlin’s cogeneration plants, are presented here per 1 km² grid square. They are distributed across the industrial and commercial areas of the city. More information

03.03.2 Emissions from Domestic Heating 1994

Link to: 03.03.2 Emissions from Domestic Heating 1994
Image: Umweltatlas Berlin

The calculated nitrogen oxide emissions caused by the polluter group ‘domestic heating’, including e.g. the multitude of smaller residential and commercial heating systems in the city area, are presented here per 1 km² grid square. They extend across almost the entire area of the city. More information

03.03.3 Emissions from Traffic 1993

Link to: 03.03.3 Emissions from Traffic 1993
Image: Umweltatlas Berlin

The calculated nitrogen oxide emissions caused by the polluter group ‘traffic’, including passenger cars, as well as trucks, buses and motorcycles, are presented here per 1 km² grid square. They extend across almost the entire area of the city. More information

03.03.4 Calculated Pollution (Yearly Average Values) from the Polluter Group Industry 1994

In order to obtain a differentiated assessment of what causes the nitrogen oxide pollution and to contribute to its elimination, air pollution (immissions) is measured at specific locations at regular intervals and supplemented by the comprehensive model calculations presented here. For ‘industry’, these are calculated for each source of emission (stack) individually. More information

03.03.5 Calculated Pollution (Yearly Average Values) from the Polluter Group Domestic Heating 1994

Link to: 03.03.5 Calculated Pollution (Yearly Average Values) from the Polluter Group Domestic Heating 1994
Image: Umweltatlas Berlin

In order to obtain a differentiated assessment of what causes the nitrogen oxide pollution and to contribute to its elimination, air pollution (immissions) is measured at specific locations at regular intervals and supplemented by the comprehensive dispersion calculations presented here. For ‘domestic heating’, they are based on the emission numbers per 1 km². More information

03.03.6 Calculated Pollution (Yearly Average Values) from the Polluter Group Traffic 1993

Link to: 03.03.6 Calculated Pollution (Yearly Average Values) from the Polluter Group Traffic 1993

In order to obtain a differentiated assessment of what causes the nitrogen oxide pollution and to contribute to its elimination, air pollution (immissions) is measured at specific locations at regular intervals and supplemented by the comprehensive dispersion calculations presented here. For ‘traffic’, they are based on the emission numbers per 1 km². More information

03.03.7 Calculated Pollution (Yearly Average Values) from all Registered Polluter Groups (Industry, Domestic Heating, Traffic) 1993/94

In order to obtain a differentiated assessment of what causes the sulphur dioxide pollution and to contribute to its elimination, air pollution (immissions) is measured at specific locations at regular intervals and supplemented by the comprehensive dispersion calculations presented here. This map presents the results as a combined total for all polluters. More information

03.03.8 Measured Pollution (Yearly Average Values I1) 1995

Measuring stations consistently monitor the air quality. In addition to the station records, this map shows site-specific annual means interpolated to the area, which serve as a parameter for the average annual nitrogen oxide pollution. More information

03.03.9 Measured Pollution (Yearly Average Values I1) 1995 Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2)

Link to: 03.03.9 Measured Pollution (Yearly Average Values I1) 1995 Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2)

Measuring stations consistently monitor the air quality. In addition to the station records, this map shows site-specific annual means interpolated to the area, which serve as a parameter for the average annual nitrogen dioxide (NO2) pollution. More information

03.03.10 Measured Pollution (98 % Value of the Cumulative Frequency I2) 1995 Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2)
