Studio visits by the Visual Arts Funding Commission of Berlin
Rationale
Comprised of representatives of Berlin’s various state collections of contemporary art, the Visual Arts Funding Commission visits artists’ studios in Berlin on a regular basis to follow developments in contemporary positions and facilitate dialogue between the arts community and the department of cultural affairs.
Eligibility and conditions
- Artists wishing to participate in this programme should have a track record of producing outstanding work and be able to verify this with their portfolio.
- Artists applying to this programme must live and work in Berlin.
- Applicants may not be enrolled at a higher education institution.
Details
Visits take place on Mondays, with a duration of approximately 30 minutes.

There is no application deadline for this programme – contact the programme office for details on the next session of the Visual Arts Funding Commission.
Application procedure
Individual artists can submit an application to this programme every three years.
