Competition: 2013 European Charlemagne Youth Prize
Each year, the European Charlemagne Youth Prize is awarded jointly by the European Parliament and the Foundation of the International Charlemagne Prize of Aachen. The Prize honors young people between the ages of 16 and 30 whose projects foster understanding in Europe and in the rest of world, promote the development of a shared sense of European identity, and provide practical examples of Europeans living together as one community. Applications can be submitted now; the deadline for submissions is 28 January 2013.
Winning projects will be awarded €5,000, €3,000, or €2,000 each. The laureates will also be invited to visit the European Parliament in either Brussels or Strasbourg.
