Berlin and Buenos Aires are stepping up their cooperation in the area of climate protection. In addition to their city partnership, Berlin and Buenos Aires entered into a climate partnership as early as 2012 and are now working together even more closely on related projects.
With the support of the Berliner Energieagentur (BEA), the two cities now plan to analyze the potential for energy savings in public hospitals. Along with further developing municipal energy management in Buenos Aires, the project aims to set up a combined heat and power (CHP) station at a public hospital. You can find more information here.
