Holocaust Memorial

The Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe (Holocaust Memorial) commemorates the six million Jews who fell victim to the genocide of the National Socialists. The 2700 concrete pillars (stelae) are about 0.95 metres deep and 2.38 metres wide and only differ in height. The stelae stand on a gently but irregularly lowered area of around 19,000 square metres.
