When something comes up there after years of silence, then the language also takes convoluted paths, as in the text that the young Swiss author Alexander Stutz submitted to the Autor:innentheatertage 2022. Although the body of his protagonist Aaron seems to have a high awareness of what happened to him in his childhood and youth, language still needs a detour to be able to tell about it. So the eyelids begin to speak, the moles, the stomach, the lump in the throat, and even a mattress. They all speak against the silence that Aaron's family has imposed on itself - a silence that wants to get rid of things and thus increases the wounds that cannot be kept silent. Alexander Stutz's text finds a high linguistic form for a topic that repeatedly leaves one speechless.
Note: This production deals with sexual violence against children and young people, which can be stressful or retraumatising.
