Over the past fifteen years, The War On Drugs have slowly but surely emerged as a standout new rock band, successfully bridging the gaps between indie and mainstream.

After a tour of fantastic concerts in the spring of 2022, The War On Drugs will return to Germany once again for an exclusive open-air concert in the summer of 2023.
The New Yorker called the band led by mastermind Adam Granduciel "the best American 'rock' band of this decade" in 2018. Especially with the last three albums "I Don't Leave Here Anymore" (2021), "Lost In The Dream" (2014) and "A Deeper Understanding" (2017, Grammy for best rock album) and also the many spectacular concerts for all three releases, the band won very many new fans all over the world.
In addition to the unmistakable voice of Adam Granduciel, we hear a compact band sound, shimmering guitars and a compositional calm and uniqueness that is second to none. Krautrock influences meet Americana, echoes of many heroes of the seventies and eighties merge with contemporary musical worlds.
