The 1975 have announcef details for the UK and European leg of their "Still... At Their Very Best" tour in February and March 2024. The newly announced dates, including two nights at London's The O2, are the band's biggest appearances in Europe to date and will be the final shows of the "Being Funny In A Foreign Language" campaign. The 1975 will also stop in Germany in March 2024 for 5 concerts.

In 2002 Matthew Healy (vocals, guitar), George Daniel (drums), Adam Hann (gi- tarre) and Ross Macdonald (bass) started as a school band, ten years later they released their first EP and gradually gained more attention. Another ten years later, they are filling halls worldwide. The band's previous "At Their Very Best" tour toured arenas in the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Asia for the past nine months, selling over 500,000 tickets. The impressive staging, polished performance art and surprise appearances by musician friends have made the tour a true heyday for the band, as confirmed by the numerous five-star reviews. The 1975 "Still... At Their Very Best" will raise the bar even higher, with a new, expanded production. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut album, The 1975, The 1975 have also announced a series of new limited editions. These include a 4LP deluxe vinyl release containing "The 1975" plus the "Facedown" EP, the "Sex" EP, the "Music For Cars" EP and the "IV" EP, as well as a solid white vinyl release in a gatefold sleeve, a limited edition white cassette and a 2CD set containing the album plus a live recording of "The 1975" played in full at the Gorilla in Manchester earlier this year. New and classic merchan- dise will also be available on The 1975 webstore - available tomorrow (Friday, September 1), the album's original release date in 2013.

The band's fifth studio album, "Being Funny In A Foreign Language," released last October, was met with effusive praise. The FACE called it "an album of tremendous melodies, impeccable production and sincere romance," and Rolling Stone vowed that the album put the band "back at the forefront of 2020s pop-rock." It sold better than the rest of the Top 5 and gave the band their fifth consecutive official number one album in the UK. The band was also named "Best Rock/Alternative Act" at the 2023 BRIT Awards.
