The "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour started over a year ago in September 2018 in the USA and was acclaimed by critics and fans alike. The three-year tour will consist of more than 350 shows on five continents, covering North America, Europe, Asia, South America and Australasia, before it concludes in December 2020.

About Elton John
Elton's career achievements to date are unsurpassed in breadth and longevity. Elton is one of the best-selling solo artists of all time, with one diamond, 38 platinum or multi-platinum and 26 gold albums as well as over 50 top 40 hits, he has sold more than 300 million records worldwide. He holds the record for the best-selling single of all time, "Candle in the Wind" 1997, which sold over 33 million copies. "Diamonds", the Ultimate Greatest Hits album, reached the top 5 of the UK album charts when it was released in November 2017, becoming Elton's 40th UK Top 40 album. This release celebrated 50 years of his songwriting partnership with Bernie Taupin. In August 2018, Elton was named the most successful male solo artist in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 charts, with 67 entries including nine number 1 and 27 top 10 hits.
