all you need is love! - Das Beatles-Musical

2020 is the year of special Beatles anniversaries: 60 years earlier the four young men named John, Paul, George and Ringo from Liverpool gave their first concert under the name "The Beatles". A decade followed in which the so-called "Fab Four" wrote music history and left hits for eternity. At the end was the separation, which will be celebrated for the 50th time next year. The musical biography "all you need is love!" brings the magic of this time back on stage. From January to April 2020 it can be seen in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The musical itself also celebrates its birthday. The premiere on the Seebühne am Chiemsee was 20 years ago.

The Beatles are still considered the most famous and successful band of all time. Now the mushroomheads are returning to the stage. Although they are not the originals who appear in the musical produced by Bernhard Kurz, they are their perfectly recorded counterparts: the quartet "Twist & Shout" with Alan LeBoeuf as Paul McCartney, Howard Arthur (John Lennon), John Brosnan (George Harrison) and Carmine Francis Grippo (Ringo Starr). In "all you need is love! - The Beatles Musical" the original band from Las Vegas resurrects the myth of the "Fab Four".

The history of the Beatles in two acts: from the backing band to mass hysteria

In this successful musical, which after a two-year break is now going on a major tour in the German-speaking countries again, the artists not only convince with their professional live singing. Their great acting talent is also shown to advantage in the recurring speech episodes and short stories. Authentic costumes and historical video recordings make the illusion perfect and take the audience back to the 60s.

Viewers can relive that legendary decade when the Beatles seemingly effortlessly shook off one world hit after another and brought the competition to sheer desperation. The fans can look forward to songs like "Love me do", "Help", "Yesterday" or "Hey Jude".

Beatle-Mania! The musical revives the legendary band in two acts

In the first part, the performers talk about the beginnings of the Beatles, who came to Hamburg in 1960 and initially played as an accompanying band in strip clubs and pubs, later gave their first own concerts and finally made their breakthrough in the USA.

In the second part the "Beatlemania" breaks out for good. The British band sells over 600 million records, literally brings its fans to ecstasy and also sets new standards in fashion and lifestyle. The performances in the legendary "Ed Sullivan Show" lead to record viewing figures. In 1967, the album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" is released - a record that shapes pop and rock music like no other before. At the peak of their career, in 1970, the Beatles announce their separation after their last and world-famous concert on the roof of the record company in London (1969). But the myth lives on until today!

Bernhard Kurz, the man with a flair for successful productions

With "all you need is love!", which premiered in 2000 on the Seebühne am Chiemsee, went on tour for the first time the following year and to date has thrilled millions of audiences in more than 1000 performances in 14 countries, successful producer Bernhard Kurz and tour organiser Oliver Forster have set a monument to the Beatles. "With this show we want to revive something of the atmosphere with which the Beatles captivated the masses back then," says Kurz. For his successful work he was awarded the "Artist Choice Award" as "Best Producer" in Las Vegas, among other places. The head of the Berlin-based show series "Stars in Concert" is celebrating Europe-wide success with parallel shows about Tina Turner ("Simply The Best") and musical biographies about the life and work of Elvis Presley ("Elvis - The Musical") and the Swedish pop group ABBA ("Thank you for the music"). Kurz has been a true greatness in show business for more than 20 years. Music and entertainment are his great passion. With the successful show "Stars in Concert" he has become a recognized expert in double shows in the course of his career.

And producer and promoter OIiver Forster has also filled concert halls in German-speaking countries with his successful COFO in-house productions about world stars such as Falco ("Falco - The Musical") and Michael Jackson ("Beat It!") in recent years.
