Berlin dances! Tango, pomp and circumstance at the Wintergarten Varieté

For this tango night de luxe, Wintergarten and Tangoloft have come up with something very special together: Not only will the stage become a pista - a dance floor for the tangueros and tangueras. There will also be dancing in the restaurant and in the magnificent lounge in the Underworlds.

That’s where the dancing starts at 9.30 pm with a Practica. The two lessons for beginners and advanced dancers will be accompanied by experienced teachers such as Lilia Keller, Julian Romeo and the Duo Stravaganza.

Admission to the hall begins at 10 pm; the tango night starts at 11 pm. There, the renowned Orquesta Típica Andariega plays live and is accompanied by the enchanting tango singer Noelia Tomassi. Tango professionals Juliana Aparicio and Santiago Hernandez will perform spectacular show dances. But the Gala-Milonga is not a programme to stay seated: The idea is not (just) to watch and listen, but above all to dance yourself.
