Hardly any other European jazz nation can boast as many internationally successful musicians as France.

The accordionist Vincent Peirani and the saxophonist Émile Parisien are the current protagonists of a scene whose glorious ancestors are Django Reinhardt, Stéphane Grappelli, Jean-Luc Ponty or Michel Petrucciani. Already outstanding in the duo 'Abrazo', these two virtuosos around forty now present their own current bands in the context of some JazzNights, in addition to this embracing two-man program.

Peirani's darkly impressive trio with the program of 'Jokers' and Parisien's eclectic and electric sextet in the best sense with 'Louise'. The icing on the cake for this concert experience is a joint performance by all nine players on...
