A decade after the premiere of Nightlife in 2015, Monika Sprüth and Philomene Magers are pleased to present the German premiere of Gaillard's latest monumental film installation during Gallery Weekend Berlin. Building on his previous exploration of the sculptural quality of three-dimensional moving images, the work pushes the boundaries of the screen. Through the targeted use of state-of-the-art technology, Gaillard creates an expanded, sharpened and, as it were, moving new view of the world around us. The immersive film installation is also complemented by a selection of the artist's latest sculptures.
