The Museum für Kommunikation Berlin presents the winners of the Comic Scholarship Berlin 2025 - an inspiring exhibition of works with insights into the diverse world of Berlin's comic art scene. In addition to the current scholarship holders, the exhibition, organized together with the Deutscher Comicverein e. V., also includes works by previous award winners: The booklets and books created as part of the cultural exchange scholarships in Paris invite you to browse in a reading corner.
In 2025, the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion awarded three eight-month working scholarships and a six-month residency scholarship at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. The working scholarships went to Matías Boettner, Katia Fouquet and Paula Kempker; the 2025/26 residency scholarship in Paris was awarded to Clayton Junior. The Paris scholarship holders from previous years are Burcu Türker, Konstantin Potapov, Sophie Artz, Karolina Chyzewska, Kai Pfeiffer, Sheree Domingo Betz and Bianca Schaalburg.
