Together we will explore the house with its still preserved parts and the traces of destruction, the synagogue used in the house today and our permanent exhibition. Many stories that have happened in Oranienburger Straße and that deal with opened gates with Hebrew letters and ruins, with weddings and brave policemen, prophets and female rabbis, with hope and destruction, accompany our way. They are always about ambivalences, changes of perspective, self and other - and often also about language, its religious meaning and its everyday use.
