Swan Lake - Bolshoi State Ballet Belarus
At Bolshoi Ballets, you can be sure that the Russian heritage will not be defaced by foreign interventions. The Bolshoi State Theatre of Belarus has awarded the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site with the Great World Cultural Prize "Five Continents" for its significant contribution to culture.
Swan Lake with the legendary choreography
The libretto of the ballet "Swan Lake", which is considered one of the most successful dance creations, is based on the fairy tale by Vladimir P. Begichev and Vasily Geltzer. The choreography is by the legendary choreographers Marius Petipa, Lev Ivanov and Alexander Gorsky, the production by Yuri Troyan and Alexandra Tikhomirova.
Swan Lake is the freestyle for every prima ballerina.
A special highlight for the audience and a touchstone for every prima ballerina is the moment to shoot the famous series of 32 so-called fouettés - a technically extremely difficult sequence of pirouettes on one leg, the legendary dance of the four little swans, as well as the dazzling splendour of the stage set and the costumes decorated with more than 1000 sinfully expensive Swarovski crystals create an organic unity that completes this vital masterpiece full of romance and joie de vivre.
