Inspired by the music of Gustav Mahler, the cie. toula limnaios is dedicated to the »staubkinder« (children of dust) that we are. The title, a word creation by choreographer Toula Limnaios, symbolizes the complexity of our contemporary lives—shaped by uncertainty, challenges, and crises.

The children of dust are deeply embedded in our individual and universal memories. In »staubkinder« we let ourselves be carried away into an absurd world. A world similar to our own, with the critical aspects of the present, today’s complexities and this uncertain space called future. The »staubkinder« are looking for their home - the land on which their feet stand is foreign to them.
