They have been closely connected personally and artistically for more than seven decades - now Daniel Barenboim and Martha Argerich will be on stage together again at the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra's Opera-Air concert.

The West-Eastern Divan Orchestra's annual opera-air concert at the Waldbühne in Berlin features two highly romantic works. Argerich is the soloist in Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1, an early masterpiece by the 20-year-old composer. In the second concert section, Maestro Barenboim conducts Brahms' lyrical Second Symphony, one of his most popular works since its premiere in 1877.
