After a triumphant tour through China they are back. 5 vocal soloists, 10 singing and dancing musical performers, all of them directly from London's West End, take the audience on an emotional rollercoaster of great emotions. A 14-piece live orchestra, colourful costumes and elaborate lighting and multimedia technology make this evening a sensational show.

The musical as homage to the hit giant Andrew Lloyd Webber

Who doesn't know them? Songs like Don't Cry for me Argentina, Memories, Starlight Express, With One Look, Music of the Night. The world-famous musical highlights of the star composer combined in a wonderful show: The Andrew Lloyd Webber Musical Gala

Energetically the presenter leads the audience through the program in German language with his charming manner. Fast-paced dance scenes, magnificently interpreted music, powerful vocals and a spectacular light show, the Andrew Lloyd Webber Musical Gala offers all this and more. A show that will thrill the master's fans as well as the audience, who will discover Webber's music in a completely new way.

The musical promises a spectacular show

The choreographer Jeanette Damant, who comes from Australia and lives in Paris, created the choreography, which is cleverly coordinated with the direction of Jochen Sautter, who also lives and works in Paris. The spectacular video-mapping and lighting design by Daniel Stryjecki gives the show a unique touch and creates fascinating images. The costumes were designed in Paris in collaboration with Rick Dijkmann, costume designer at Disneyland Paris. The music was orchestrated and arranged by Peter Oleksiak, who leads the 14 musicians from England, Spain, Germany and Poland. Deborah Sasson and Jochen Sautter are responsible for the overall artistic and musical direction.

Press comments

New Press Hanover:
"At the Andrew Lloyd Webber Gala on Saturday evening at the Aegi Theater, Broadway atmosphere was in the air. And a whole lot of it... ...a dazzling Broadway show with sparkling sequin outfits, top-class singers and familiar melodies from the musical master.

Main Post, Wuerzburg:
"The audience gets its money's worth. From "Love changes everything" and "All I ask of you" to "Evita". As Ché Jonathan Radford thrilled the audience with the song "Oh what a Circus" as well as as Jesus with "Gethsemane" from "Jesus Christ Superstar". Of course, "Memory" from "Cats" is a permanent hit and is celebrated by Lindsay Kearns, who - together with Zac Hamilton, who is great in various roles - also performs the "Phantom" - catchy tune "Think of me".

Augsburger Zeitung:
"A musical monument has now been erected to the master of the musical in a grand gala, at which his most beautiful stage plays were given a new interpretation with powerful sound and images...... Astonishingly much value was also placed on the visual framework of this colourful Webber gala: Discreet but effective film insertions in the background lent the individual contributions an atmospheric ambience, the subtle play with light effects and transparent fabric curtains created a new atmosphere again and again, constantly integrating the compositions into a subconscious interplay of emotions.

"The ingenious and at the same time unagitated lighting and video technology contributed to the success of the gala. Charmingly, presenter Tyrone Chambers led through the program, only to sing the next musical hit as a soloist."
