Corona incidence drops to 256.2

The seven-day incidence is now 256.2, which indicates how many new infections per 100,000 population have been reported in the past seven days. On early Wednesday morning, the value was 265.6. According to the RKI, 1943 new infections were reported by Thursday compared to the previous day. As in previous days, the RKI pointed out that a lower number of tests and reported cases can be assumed at the turn of the year. As a result, the data could only provide "an incomplete picture of the epidemiological situation".
