The figure indicates how many people per 100,000 inhabitants have been proven to be infected with the Coronavirus in the past seven days. The nationwide incidence is 353.0. According to RKI data, 2089 new Covid cases were reported in Berlin between Tuesday and Wednesday. Six more people have been confirmed to have died from or with the virus. Another is the occupancy of intensive care units with Covid-19 patients, which remains a cause for concern in Berlin. According to the Senate's situation report, 22.5 percent of all intensive care beds were occupied by Covid patients as of Wednesday morning. The corresponding Coronavirus traffic light continued to show red, indicating an urgent need for action.
