New 2G condition for retail from Saturday

From 27 November, only people vaccinated against Coronavirus and those who have recovered from a Coronavirus infection will have access to most shops in Berlin, not the unvaccinated.

The Berlin Senate agreed on a corresponding extension of the so-called 2G rules on Tuesday (23 November 2021), according to information from the Deutsche Presse-Agentur. Exceptions are to apply to essential services, such as supermarkets, drugstores, pharmacies, petrol stations, baby markets, books and pet supplies, as well as weekly markets and bicycle and car repair shops. The new regulation is to come into force on 27 November 2021.
