349: Coronavirus incidence in Berlin on the rise again
The Coronavirus incidence in Berlin remains at a high level with an incidence value of 349 on Tuesday (November 23, 2021).
The new incidence numbers were announced by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) early this morning. On Monday, the incidence, which indicates how many new infections per 100,000 inhabitants were reported in the past seven days, was 338. The nationwide seven-day incidence currently sits very slightly below 400.
3,263 new Covid infections were registered in Berlin compared to the previous day, bringing the total to 259,446 registered cases of infection. Five additional deaths were reported. 3,784 Berliners have died from or with the virus since the pandemic began. The hospitalization incidence also rose to 3.8a on Tuesday, up from 3.4 on Monday.
