Coronavirus incidence in Berlin remains below 200

Unlike the nationwide Coronavirus incidence, the incidence in Berlin has not yet exceeded 200.

According to data provided by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Monday (08 November 2021), 194.5 out of 100,000 people in the city contracted the virus in the past seven days. This is significantly higher than on Monday a week ago, when an incidence value of 140.2 was reported.

Nationwide incidence over 200

Nationwide, the so-called seven-day incidence had risen to 201.1 on Monday, reaching the highest level since the beginning of the pandemic. Out of the twelve Berlin districts, only the districts of Reinickendorf, Spandau, Mitte and Neukölln have an Coronavirus incidence of over 200. Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 231,264 people have been infected with Covid-19 in Berlin, according to official statistics. 3,735 people died in connection with an infection.
