Coronavirus incidence in Berlin rises to 180

The incidence of Coronavirus infections has continued to rise in Berlin. The number of detected new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days was 180 on Friday morning (Nov. 05, 2021).

This was reported by the Robert Koch Institute. On Thursday, the incidence value was still 165.6, on Wednesday it was 157.4. On Friday a week ago, it was only 137.9. According to data provided by the RKI, the number of new infections between Thursday and Friday has also risen to 1,560. Since the start of the pandemic, this means that 229,370 people across Berlin have been confirmed to have been infected with the virus. Ten more people have died from or with the virus. The number of deaths in Berlin related to Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic is thus 3,729.
