Coronavirus infections in Berlin have continued to rise. On Wednesday (November 3, 2021), the Robert Koch Institute reported 157.4 detected new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days.

The previous day, this value had been 156.1. A week ago on Wednesday, the incidence in Berlin was 124.9. Between Tuesday and Wednesday, the RKI registered 1241 new cases. Eight people died from or with the virus in the same period. This brings the official number of deaths related to Covid-19 to 3717 since the pandemic began in Berlin. 226,248 people have been confirmed to have been infected since then.
