Corona incidence remains on the rise in Berlin. According to figures released by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Wednesday, the figure was 80.4, up from 79.4 the previous day (Oct. 12, 2021).

The figure indicates how many people per 100,000 inhabitants have been proven to be infected with the virus in the past seven days. 698 people were newly infected compared to the previous day, bringing the total to 211,635 in Berlin. Two more people died. This raises the number of Berliners who have died from or with the virus since the start of the pandemic to 3,657.
