Corona incidence in Berlin on the rise again

Corona incidence is on the way up again in Berlin.

After a slight decline in the past few days, the figure was 79.4 on 12 October 2021, according to figures released by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI). The previous day, the figure was 77.9. The figure indicates how many people per 100,000 inhabitants have been proven to be infected with the virus in the past seven days.

667 people were newly infected compared to the previous day, bringing the total to 210,937 in Berlin so far. Eight more people died. This brings the number of Berliners who have died from or with the virus since the beginning of the pandemic to 3655.
