According to the latest data from the Robert Koch Institute of 06 October 2021, 76.6 out of 100,000 people have been infected with the virus in the past seven days. On the Wednesday before, the number was 66.0. As before, Berlin is above the national average of 62.3. According to the RKI, there were 584 new proven Corona cases and 4 additional deaths related to Covid-19 within one day. According to the official data, 208,397 Berliners have been proven to be infected since the beginning of the pandemic in spring 2020. Of them, 3635 died.
