The corona incidence in Berlin continues to stagnate at values slightly above 80.
On 10 September 2021, the figure was 84.7, according to data from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) and the Berlin situation report. This means that the seven-day incidence has now hardly changed for more than a week after the increase in August. The value indicates how many people per 100,000 inhabitants have been newly infected with the coronavirus in the past seven days.
Berlin is at about the same level as the national average (83.8). In eastern Germany, the incidence values are significantly lower, while in large parts of western Germany they are higher. The Corona traffic light is yellow twice and green once in Berlin. Slightly more than 61 percent of Berliners are fully vaccinated. 541 new Corona infections have been registered. Since the beginning of the pandemic, almost 198,000 cases of Corona infection have been reported in Berlin. Three more deaths linked to Covid-19 were reported on Friday. This brought the total number of deaths to 3602.
