Corona incidence still above 80

The incidence of corona in Berlin is on the rise. The value was 83.2 on 02 September 2021, as shown in the current data from the Robert Koch Institute.

The number indicates how many people per 100,000 inhabitants have been infected with the virus within the past seven days. The number of newly infected people is given by the RKI as 736 new cases. This brings the total number of people infected with Corona in Berlin since the beginning of the pandemic to 194,028. The number of deaths related to the disease caused by the virus was 3593 on Thursday.

Since more and more people are vaccinated and thus protected from severe courses, the significance of the seven-day incidence is decreasing.
