In Berlin, extended testing obligations for people without Corona vaccination will apply from Friday (20 August 2021). This was decided by the Senate on Tuesday, thereby implementing a corresponding federal-state agreement in state law.

A corona rapid test is prepared in a test station.

Accordingly, many activities, primarily in enclosed spaces, will in future only be permitted for vaccinated, recovered and tested persons. According to Health Administration, this applies to participation in events in closed rooms or in outdoor events with more than 100 people present at the same time. The three Gs (vaccinated, convalescent, tested) also come into play for indoor gatherings with more than 50 people present at the same time, for visits to the hairdresser and other body-related services. The same applies to visits to hospitals, rehabilitation centres or institutions for the disabled.
