Corona incidence in Berlin rises to over 50

The Corona virus continues to spread in Berlin. According to the figures of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) of 13 August 2021, the seven-day incidence was 50.3.

The previous day, the value was 44.4. The number stands for infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days. A week ago, the value was 35.0. 473 new Corona cases were reported in Berlin. This brings the total number of people who have been confirmed to have contracted the virus in the capital to 185,779. One death has been added. A total of 3586 people have died in the capital in connection with an infection with the coronavirus so far. According to the RKI, around 55 percent of Berliners are fully vaccinated.
