The Corona virus continues to spread in Berlin. The seven-day incidence was 44.4 according to the figures of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) of 12 August 2021.

The previous day, the value was 42.9. The number stands for infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days. On the previous day, the value was 40.7 and a week ago it was 32.7. 358 new Corona cases were reported in Berlin. This brings the total number of people confirmed to have contracted the virus in the capital to 185,306. According to the RKI data, no additional deaths have been recorded. A total of 3585 people have died in the capital in connection with infection with the coronavirus so far. 55 percent of Berliners have been vaccinated twice.
