Corona incidence in Berlin slightly declining

The upward trend in the seven-day incidence in Berlin has stopped.

According to data from the Robert Koch Institute early Friday morning (23 July 2021), 21.8 Berliners per 100,000 inhabitants have been newly infected with the corona virus in the past seven days. This is the same value as on Wednesday, when the corresponding Corona traffic light of the Berlin Senate had jumped to yellow. Compared to Thursday (22.6), it has decreased slightly. Previously, it had almost doubled in one week.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 181,531 people have been infected with the virus in Berlin. According to the RKI, the number of new infections within one day was 99. The number of deaths related to a Corona infection rose by one to 3577.
