Corona incidence almost doubled again within one week

The incidence continues to rise in the capital: According to the latest data from the Robert Koch Institute as of Thursday morning (22 July 2021), 22.6 people per 100,000 inhabitants have been newly infected with the coronavirus in the past seven days.

Within one week, the value has almost doubled. The previous day, the incidence was still 21.8. The corresponding Corona traffic light of the Berlin Senate had thus jumped back to yellow. The number of new infections within one day remained unclear on Thursday. According to the RKI, however, there have been no further deaths. A total of 3576 infected people have died from or with the virus so far.
