According to information from the Deutsche Presse-Agentur, a simple surgical mask will suffice when shopping in future, and the obligation for customers to wear an FFP2 mask will be lifted. On the other hand, an FFP2 mask must still be worn in public transport as well as for services close to the body. In addition, the contact restrictions for private meetings indoors will be dropped - as was already the case for private meetings outdoors a few weeks ago. Previously, a maximum of ten people from a maximum of five households were allowed to meet in a private setting indoors. Own children up to 14 years of age as well as fully vaccinated and recovered people are not counted in each case.
